My name is Paul L. Veilleux. I own and operate The Peachtree Consortium. The buck stops here; I am solely responsible for its content. If you are a reader, I hope that you enjoy my pages. I created this site in conjunction with the American Council of the Blind in order to help get information into the hands of those who need it most.
My base topics include items that are of interest to folks living in or planning to visit Texas. They include bed and breakfasts, hotels, dining, entertainment, shopping, gospel and weddings.
I bring diversity to the table as I present each of these categories. In addition to informing you about established franchises that have for years brought consistency and reliability to the public, I also like to take you off of the freeways and on to some of the back roads where independent entrepreneurs have been offering unique, specialized products and services that often cannot be found through main stream establishments.
I enjoy informing you about these sometimes hidden and lesser-known places where talented individuals compete for your business. Each of these independent establishments go to great lengths to depict the uniqueness of their product or service. Whether you select an established icon or a ma-and-pa shop tucked away on a quaint country back road, I hope that you truly enjoy your selection.
My main index is the gateway to all topics. It includes my base topics and all other subject matter. It is laid in alphabetical order. Please note - The Peachtree Consortium is based in Garland, Texas. My information pages include many topics that are specific to the state of Texas but also includes subject matter that is more national in scope.
